"Palestinian orphans' council has been established in the department of the supreme judge presided by his Eminence the supreme judge and the membership of the head and members of Sharia appeal court in Jerusalem. This council applies the law of managing and developing orphan's properties establishment no 20 for the year 1997 according to the presidential decree 1/94 to conserve their properties by Sharia investment way which achieves profits. Prophet Mohammad says [he who takes care of an orphan who has properties should trade in his money so that alms could not terminate it].
Islamic Sharia investment system (Murabaha) has started in order to increase the properties of the orphans and participate in solving the problem of poverty and unemployment in Palestine starting from 1/3/2004. The establishment finances projects like buying pieces of lands, flats construction and other productive projects; it finances the youth who are about to get married to buy what is needed with easy conditions in order to help the Palestinian society during the difficult economical situation ; many pieces of lands were bought in distinguished areas in Ramallah and Hebron.
