To complete the institutions of Shari jurisdiction and to achieve the general welfare, Personal Status Prosecution Department was established on the basis of the agreement of his Excellency the president in 30-12-2003
Personal Status Prosecution Department is specialized in presenting the lawsuits concerning the right of Allah and society like divorce , family relationship, endowment , apostasy ,donation ,will, the money which comes to the Ministry of Endowment , incompetents, the lost and lawsuits concerning marriage invalidating ;attorney interference in these lawsuits is obligatory . This department has a boss, Shari district attorneys and assistants in Jerusalem, Nablus , Gaza , Hebron and khan Yunis.
